Set in a quaint island town 40 miles off the coast of New England, ‘Widow’s Bay’ stars Matthew Rhys as the mayor who is determined to revive his struggling community. The series highlights the lack of modern conveniences such as Wi-Fi and spotty cellular reception, along with superstitious locals who believe their island is cursed.

The teaser describes the protagonist’s efforts to build a better future for his teenage son by turning the island into a tourist destination. Despite initial success in attracting tourists, it becomes clear that the old stories of curses and supernatural occurrences are true.
