Google Enhances Android Privacy and Security

Google has announced the first beta version of Android 17 with significant privacy and security enhancements. The new features include:

• The deprecation of Cleartext Traffic Attribute to prevent unsecured data transmission.
• Support for HPKE Hybrid Cryptography, enabling secure communication through a combination of public key and symmetric encryption (AEAD).
