Apple Launches AirPods Max 2 with Enhanced Features

Apple has unveiled the AirPods Max 2, featuring significant upgrades such as the H2 chip, improved active noise cancellation, and enhanced sound quality. The new model also includes features like Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Voice Isolation, and Live Translation.

Design and Availability

The AirPods Max 2 retains the same overall design as the original AirPods Max but introduces several color options: Midnight, Starlight, Orange, Purple, and Blue. Pre-orders will be available on Apple.com starting Wednesday, March 25, 2026, with an early April launch.

Price and Features

In the U.S., the AirPods Max 2 will continue to be priced at $549. The new features are largely attributed to the upgrade to the H2 chip, which brings about the improvements in noise cancellation and sound quality.
